So Long So Cal...

Well. It has been a fun ride playing music in Southern California. I will be heading back to the midwest at the end of October.

I have met quite a few amazing artist and played a lot of great venues during my few years in So Cal. There are so many people that I'm grateful to have met during my journey in this beautiful part of the country. Just a few people I would like to mention here. Katie McCarthy and Mandy Egleseder who gave me my start playing for their pop up truck market at The Headquarters. It was my first taste of playing in San Diego. It also led to a full time paying gig at The Headquarters for the next 3 years.

Jake Skolnick of Vanity Manequin Records who booked me at The Tipsy Crow and The Tin Roof. 2 of the coolest places to play music in The Gaslamp Quarter. Also, all of the people who have taken their turn at Sleeping Giant giving me more opportunities to play than I can count.

Kenneth Rexrode who is reviving the Singer Songwriters here in So Cal. I only got to play 1 show because my injury sidelined me shortly after playing The Fallbrook Open Mic. But the night led me to meeting some amazing musicians like Malissa and Jerod of Dulaney and Co. If you have not heard of them. Definitely seek them out. Such an amazing mix of Southern Rock and Soul music. You will not be disappointed.

So. Once again. Make sure to stop out at one of the remaining gigs I have. Sing a long to some songs you may know. These 3 years went by so fast. I am looking forward to making my way back out to the west coast again.

Peace and love to my So Cal friends and family.
